In this class I will be teaching attendees the basics of hand embroidery, plus some additional dimensional techniques. The class dues include: Full pattern, thread kit (aka the amount of threads needed for project with a little extra), embroidery needle, 4” bamboo embroidery hoop, and a simple canvas tote bag. Oh! And some breakfast munchies and NA refreshments!

The embroidery kits come in 3 different color ways: Funky Florals, Spring Meadows, and Sunset Hills. These are colors that I have personally coordinated using DMC 6 Strand Embroidery Floss.

NOTE:

I will provide little thread scissors to use in class, and those are available for purchase as well as a few other fun ones, but please feel free to bring your favorite little snips if yo would like. A couple of reasons I don’t provide the scissors in embroidery class: 1. Most crafty folk have their favorite embroidery scissors; 2. Getting scissors in kits is not a common practice as well, personally I love scissors but in reality not sure what I would do with 20 of the same style of snips. Frixion Pens will also be available to use in class as well, I will go over a couple of tracing techniques and mediums in class…leaving the ultimate future tracing style up to the student after class.

So who’s ready to get stitchy!? I think the hardest part is choosing which color way you are going to use for the project!
