Recently I have been inspired to begin combining my love of hunting for vintage goods and fiber arts, and had the fabulous idea of going a step further… working from my scraps, making these cute mug rugs and pairing them with thrifted vintage mugs and tea cups, making them even more earth friendly and super unique!

This mug rug is made with bold springy florals and geometric prints and scrap batting from my bigger quilting projects…definitely don’t want to waste that material, that’s gold! And perfectly paired with it is an adorable springy Japanese mug.
